A lot of players are spending many, many hours playing Bad Company 2, and we’ve compiled a list of 20 indicators that you’ve been playing too much Bad Company 2.

  • You injure or cut yourself and think of shouting “MEDIC!”
  • You stay clear of open spaces in fear of snipers
  • Every small box reminds you of ammo or health packs
  • Instead of opening doors, you want to cut them open with your knife
  • You want to blow a hole in the wall instead of using the entrance
  • If you’re outside, you try and spot every object, even birds in the sky
  • You try and arm your fridge
  • You’re waiting in front of your house for your car to respawn
  • You see green and orange indicators above people in your life
  • Every time you’re outside, you’re scanning the sky of enemy choppers
  • When a suspicious vehicle drives by and you yell “Enemy vehicle spotted!”
  • You’re trying to disarm your microwave before the timer runs out
  • If things aren’t going great in your life, you expect a “patch” to fix it
  • You can’t lie down because there’s no prone in the game
  • You never stand still out side of your car, instead you strafe around it to avoid enemy fire
  • You constantly check towers and hilltops for snipers
  • If you enter an empty room, you try and disconnect from the server
  • You don’t care if people die, because they can just respawn
  • If good things happen to people around you out of the blue, you accuse them of cheating and using hacks
  • You’re thinking of leaving your friends and join another squad on a daily basis

You stand a few feet behind friends so you can paddle them if they fall down.

So true, even on servers with Punkbuster. Some players need to learn that they are going to lose or perform poorly sometimes, and just because they do does not mean the other team is using hacks.

I often find myself crouching by the copy machine trying to arm the MCOMM station. It only worked once. BOOM!.

You steal some kid’s RC copter at the park and tell him to move up because you are spotting enemies.

Someone drops a pineapple in the grocery store and you yell, “Grenataaaaaaaaa!!!”
